we wanted to somehow show our support and our love and thanks to all who have stood up for our freedom and this is just a small way to say we thank YOU and will think of you each day . and a prayer is said for you each day and night . that you all come home safe ..
if you have a story let us know and we will post it or if you have a loved one that is serving now in our armed forces please let us know and send a picture and we will post them on here ,
In Memory
One gift, above all others
God gives to us to treasure
One that knows no time, no place
And one gold cannot measure
The precious, poignant tender gift
Of Memory, that will keep
Our dear ones ever in our hearts
Although God gives them sleep
It brings back long remembered things.
A song, a word, a smile
And the world's a better place because
We had them for awhile!

Blessed are they that mourn:
for they shall be comforted.

We Shall Meet Again
If I should leave this world
Without a warning,
And not even whisper a fond farewell,
Grieve not for one more message
From the lips that God has stilled.
But just remember me with love
And prayers for my soul's journey
To that fair land beyond life's tears.
For I have believed with all my heart
In its existence, and I know that
God is good, for He has come to me
Through the life of Him whose very
Garment I have sought to touch.
It may be lonely, and I hope you miss me
Just a little, because I have loved so deeply.
Forgive me if I have ever hurt you
And remember me for what I longed to be.
Have faith that I am nearer than
Your dreams and fondest longings.
For the God of love shall keep all
Kindred spirits close together,
Though the misty vale between
This world and that to come
Keeps us from each other's sight
For a few precious moments.
Whisper softly that you love me
And it shall linger on within my soul
Until you come.
Say not good-bye,
For on some bright tomorrow
We shall meet again.

"Wish You Were Here"
For all the free people that still protest.
You're welcome.
We protect you and you are protected by the best.
Your voice is strong and loud, but who will fight for you?
No one standing in your crowd.
We are your fathers, brothers, and sons,
wearing the boots and carrying guns.
We are the ones that leave all we own,
to make sure your future is carved in stone.
We are the ones who fight and die,
We might not be able to save the world,
Well, at least we try.
We walked the paths to where we are at
and we want no choice other than that.
So when you rally your group to complain,
take a look in the back of your brain.
In order for that flag you love to fly
wars must be fought and young men must die.
We came here to fight for the ones we hold dear.
If that's not respected, we would rather stay here.
So please stop yelling, put down your signs,
and pray for those behind enemy lines.
When the conflict is over and all is well,
be thankful that we chose to go through hell.

Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you:
not as the world giveth, give I unto you.
Let not you heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
John 14:27
Fear thou not; for I am with thee:
Be not dismayed; for I am thy God:
I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee;
Yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.
Isaiah 41:10
The Greatest Love
The Greatest Love
The greatest love I was ever shown,
Was given me by those unknown.
Whose love for all of those like me,
Was given without vanity,
Was given freely without remorse,
Free-flying into the battle course.
With courage fighting our enemy,
So our land would always home the free.
So my own children can live and grow,
My children that they did not know.
Those brave warriors, whose lives were lost.
All paying the terrible, ultimate cost.
The greatest heroes, woman and man,
Who gave their lives in a foreign land,
Whose last sight was the desert sand,
All led to glory by God's tender hand.
Never again to see
This sweet land, that they so loved,
That they made their stand.
Never again, to take a breath free,
Or to feel the touch of family,
They gave up their lives so
That it remained free, for they so loved
This great country.
With pride we stand
And voice what we want,
While overlooking soldier souls haunt,
Smiling while children laugh and play,
In freedom growing day by day.
All because of those unknown,
Who's greatest wish
Was to just come home.
I pray that maybe,
When they take their last breath,
That they closed their eyes,
And just before death,
Took the vision to glory,
Of America green,
And smiled when thinking
Of those unseen.
The greatest love I was ever shown,
Was given me by those unknown.
THANK YOU!

The American Flag
A Brief History
The United States Flag is the third
oldest of the National Standards of
the world; older than the Union Jack
of Britain or the Tricolor of France.
The flag was first authorized by Congress
June 14, 1777. This date is now observed
as Flag Day throughout America.
It was first decreed that there should be
a star and a stripe for each state, making
thirteen of both; for the states at the time
had just been erected from the
original thirteen colonies.
The colors of the Flag may be thus explained:
The red is for valor, zeal and fervency;
the white for hope purity, cleanliness of life,
and rectitude of conduct; the blue, the color
of heaven, for reverence to God, loyalty,
sincerity, justice and truth.
Betsy Ross sewed the first American flag.
When we view the flag, we think of liberty,
freedom, pride, and Betsy Ross.
The United States Flag is unique in the deep
and noble significance of its message to the
entire world, a message of national independence,
of individual liberty, of idealism, of patriotism.
The American flag flies on the moon, sits
atop Mount Everest, is hurtling out in space.
The flag is how America signs her name
